carl0s
well it was a long time ago, but basically I'd only had the car since about the 10th march, and I was going round a very gradual left-hand bend there and floored it whilst simultaneously pulling it down into second gear. Car just slid out to the right and I seriously over corrected and went sliding to the left over a kerb and up the hill then along the railings. I had absolutely no hope anyway because I was sat low in the chair, something which I don't do anymore, plus I'd never done any tail control either. Damage cost about £1900 in labour / paint to fix, and about another grand in parts. I was all set for selling the car just before the accident because I couldn't afford the fuel, but after being without it for a month during repairs, I've never looked back since after getting it back

And your still here so not all's bad, just shame about the empty wallet

carl0s
Yeah, Cliosport. Says he's a mate of yours. LOL yeah. He's the IT manager of a customer of mine. I was about to have a race with the sales director who had a 'pretend M3' (I was winding him up - it's a 330 Clubsport with all the M-gear on it). The sales director fooked off up the road while I was still asking Darren if he was getting in or not, so I floored it to try to catch up to him, expecting a nice standing-start straight line race. Darren didn't get in the car, thank fuck! And I never saw the BMW

JustGav
Are we not getting to the point where race fuel is not too far off the same price give or take a few pence... Hell if I'm paying £1/litre, I might as well pay £1.20/litre... £60 vs £72 based on a 60 litre tank.... Gav
