Matt_J
Is this a fair swap? My L-reg N/A Auto Aerotop, for, L-reg N/A Manual, normal roof. Had my supra for 1 year now & I love it to bits, but I miss a manual gearbox.

Matt_J
Last year I had the roof off a couple of times. Its great, dont get me wrong, but I really miss a manual gearbox & I havnt really got much cash to play around with.

Seriously K/L/M NA's are all pretty much the same'ish in price regardless of type, mainly comes down to condition of the two and any other extras you'd get/lose in the swap....... Matt_J
I heard that the aerotops are a little bit rarer, so tend to hold their value a bit better.
Digsy
Wouldn't swap my aerotop for the same age manual hardtop. Far too much fun in the summer

I think given a car of the same colour and condition i think its true that the aerotop would be a bit more expensive than the manual, but not alot..... Best (most cost effective) way to go about the swap is selling yours and then waiting for the right Manual, but this is never an easy thing, due to insurance swaps, access to a car in the meantime etc.
Matt_J
I would love to keep the aerotop, even though I only had the roof off twice last year. In a perfect world, I would just have a 5 speed manual fitted.
