Does anyone know what the little black Dome looking lump thing does inside the car just before you reach the windscreen ? (Sorry about the description!). Is it something to do with the standered alarm ? Or is it a gprs system for aliens because they all want supra's to fly around space in.. (Sorry for the last bit :-) )

It senses........................ :baa:

On hot days when it is particularly sunny (so not in the UK then) it causes the A\C to increase output slightly to compensate for the heating effect from the sun. Hence the reason why it is at the front of the windscreen.

well . .this was the situation Mr T !

When i bought the supe . .i was told the gas was low . .so I go Toyota Citygate (slough) to check out the level and also a general check to see if it worked . .it came back all clear . .but when I got it back it was the same . .I took it back and they said that its different on every car or some bullshit like that . . I had someone else take a peek at it but no result . . so .. what do you advise I do chap ?

You can do some checks your self, I can email you the checking charts for codes, but I can't remember which two heater/air con buttons you press to get diagnostic at the moment, I am sure some one else will beat me to it.

Most main dealers know very little aabout aircon specialist firm is the best way to go once you know what is wrong with it.
