The Raven
Colin came over last night, and started picking lumps of my bumper. It will be off at the weekend and over to him till its back to normal again. Mean time i will continue to look for engine ldeas, be it 2.5tt or 3.tt. By ideas i mean cheap engines. I dont know how long my N/A engine will continue to run with no servicing of any kind. Time will tell.
The Raven
Colin put my pedals on today need to get somekind of plate for the foot rest now Ray is kindly looking into the footrest issue Edited February 7, 2010 by The Raven (see edit history)
The Raven
Brought all the paint, fibre glass and other bits. Front is coming off next week. Then the spoiler, roof, and dash panels. Might have a set of wheels coming. depending on a swap for some stocks. Had a funny moment yesterday when i removed my carpet to get better access to the pedals i found water in the footwell. Freaked out thinking heater matrix. So after much panicing i made the brave step to taste the stuff. Still not happy Colin then offered to taste the manky dirty footwell water. Thankfully other than being a bit gritty it was just rain water and not coolent. Suspecting the seals around the aero top. Its a true friend that will taste your dirty god knows how old foot well water! Its a true friend that will taste your dirty god knows how old foot well water! I do the same on aircraft! Sometimes I have to, other times... no wait, I don't do it for fun... You two can be very proud of the project. I was going to say why not black on the pedals rather than blue? Then I remembered the blue footwell lights... Might've been a nice contrast? Done now anyway, looks good mate.
themodifiedkid
yeah Russ (theraven) is getting well paranoid with the slightest little thing on his motor right now due to a few bits of bad luck in recent months *scratches head and wanders what I can make up to scare him LOL* But yep def rainwater leaking from the seals in the aero roof, Safe to say he was well relieved!!! I will be keeping the auto box, so i will need a TT auto to dump in it. However owning the UK TT was not enough so i will BPU the lump then drop it in. Mucho ££ needed
