The Raven
Your mad mate! I really dont mind how long it takes you! That said its starting to look like it might work again! I guess if any newbie is reading this the car is about as much as a club car as there is, and the club has been a lifesaver many times. I have mentioned it elsewhere here but i will list the people that more or less put this in the road. 1. It was found by a chap here that has long since vanished and his brother, he phoned me right away to tell me. 2. My wife went into labour the day i was supposed to pick it up, i had no one to ring and the guy pick it up by 1pm or he will sell it to someone else. So i made one last ditch call to a memeber i knew Gaz1 i gave him a mubbled mess of a message about the car and where it was and that the money was at my house. Gaz left work, went to his bank got the cash drove up and picked up the car and stored it till i was ready to get it. 3. Colin....Poor colin....I met him when i went to buy a gear stick. His life was never the same all the body work and spraying was done by him often he would have stop doing what he was doing to correct me from making a hash of something else. I remember dropping the car off with the wing idea and a crude carboard cut out. he is now one of my best mates. 4. The bodykit, engine, and every other mod has been brought from here, i never went anywhere else. 5. Rob.....makes a real mess............ 6. The local bunch offer to fix it on the driveway such a nice gesture but with the problem being the head it didnt work out. 7. Matt comes along and makes it his misson to get the thing working. Best £30 i ever spent.
supra matt
Quick update on this got it back up and running did a fue pulls down my drive but seems to be a boost leak somewhere so will track that down and put the front end on and take it for a run and see how it all goes, All tho the gear box dose seem to be very unresponsive and the fluid is on the cold mark so will get it warm and see if things improve. Another job I did was swap the na dials for some tt ones I had as the Rev counter was not working. His some pics

supra matt
Yes yes yes! Dear god please let the gear box be ok............ When i said i would buy the dials i didnt mean you fit them! that's ok mate only took 20 min to swap them over ;-) . is the box from the na or did it come with tt lump? The Raven
Its a TT box mate. I bet the oil level drops to nothing once it gets moving, i think it was probably topped up and never moved, the box came out with the engine at robs............ supra matt
O right I hope did not remove and or empty the tourque converter as that's what it feels like these not enough oil in it once you put it in gear.

Im more than happy to drive up and help in any way i can. Or if you want to stop with it im sure i can remove the box, or im happy to pay for more time, what ever way you want to do it im fine. Just happy its running and not 1. overfueling. 2. Dumping itself all over the drive. 3. Almost working as it should. Kaan W
Always put more than you think in, most autobox failures occur from incorrect fluid level. Get the box warm and keep topping up until both sides of the dip stick are covered to the max level.

Sorted with new clip 2) auto box = empty altho it was showing cool level so will grab some fluid and top up and see how that goes 3) fix intercooler as only held on with top nut. = retaap bolt hole and find bolt to fit in my parts bucket Job done. on the home straight now need to pick up new state and rad cap as the oil has swollen the rubbers. his a fue pics Edited June 19, 2014 by supra matt (see edit history)

I gave some shiney pulleys at SRD that you can have for the car if you want.. Once my cars back I'll send them on if you want... and thank you for the nice comments. right just had a fue hours on the car tonight, just sorting last fue bits before road test tomorrow night. the gear box took 2.5 ltr to get to right place so no wonder it felt a bit sluggish in gear lol. also would appear a jewel thife owned the car befor Russ as the drivers door is full of dimonds lol. o my mistake it's glass bummer. car must of been broken into when with rob :-( and he replaced the window with one that was tinted but took that off and left the glue all over it. so i sorted that his a fue pics.,
JasonR24
I love this thread really shows how great this club is and how good people can be. We just need to keep people like Rob out!
The Raven
The window was broken by rob at my request as the trailer guy gave rob the wrong keys. Rob replaced window with the gluey one, although i didnt know what it was and it wouldnt come off when i tried. Needless to say the trailer driver found the right ones only after the window was put though. I probably should have taken that as a bad omen............................... Thanks for cleaning it off, you really didnt have to mate. The car was in a worse state than ever thought possible. From the top end to the bottom end the whole engine was fubared. Left to it i wouldnt have been able to afford to fix it and may well have had to sell it for next to nothing.......heart breaking after 5 years i doubt i would have ever been able to get another supra. If you ever need anything matt please feel free to ask. Edited June 20, 2014 by The Raven (see edit history)

supra matt
Ya Been back out on it today and made a pressure system to see if there was a boost leak but could not find one so all is good I stripped all the pipes off and tested them and cleaned them inside as we're oily and had rubbish in them I also replaced a few missing bolts hear and there and gave the under side a quick decrease. And as it's such a lovey day i washed the car and took a few pics http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/21/u2yne8eq.jpg[[img]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/21/ha5ejyme.jpg
