Supragal
I don't understand. I mean I don't understand wanting to go to glastonbury anyway but whats all the legal stuff they're going on about and why does it have to be sold to a early 20's make and female? What don't I understand?
STOX
I don't understand. I mean I don't understand wanting to go to glastonbury anyway but whats all the legal stuff they're going on about and why does it have to be sold to a early 20's make and female? What don't I understand? Because of ticket scams and stuff I think you need to show ID on arrival. When you buy the tickets this year I think you also have to give certain details which would then appear on your ticket. To get in the two have to match. Sounds excessive. DaveRex
True, when you buy a Glasto ticket you give your address and name etc when you present your ticket on the gate you have to prove you are the person named on the ticket, with Drivers licence, utility bill etc so why the hell people are trying to flog them i don't know seems a lot of fake bids have hit this particular auction though
Supragal
What a load of rubbish to get into a stinking dirty field where you are trapped with unwashed minging hippies standing about for an entire weekend either in the pissing rain or getting burnt to a crisp and suffering from sunstroke to see 1 half decent band from the distance of 2 miles preventing you from seeing or hearing them anyway. Well it dosn't have to be like that...last time I went i had a Winniebago and camped in a secure backstage area with decent showers that worked, our own toilet, subsidised catering...and all areas passes all free!!!!! I used to stay in tents there but always in secure areas...just as much fun if theres a few of ya and you can light a camp fire etc.... Everyone should go there at least once,.....and I garentee you will want to go back...ffs though dont take a Supra...!!! Edit: I been going since I was 15...trying to scrounge some free tickets off one of my friends who is one of the orginisers for this year but not looking too hopeful this time round! terribleturner
I thin festivals are great, but they are way over priced and this pair of tickets has to be taking the piss. That really is incerdible.

RedSZ
Shame on you Supragal You can love Supras and Glastonbury. I've been with my kids and by myself and its always been brilliant - muddy or dry. I've never been too interested in the bands playing, just strolled about, chilled out and enjoyed myself in a very peaceful, positive environment. I managed to book tickets this sunday and am looking forward to it even more than this summer's Supra meets

Just not my cup of tea, but then nor is camping for more than 1 or 2 nights either so I suppose it follows. If I want to see a band I'll go to a concert of theirs. RedSZ
OK ... I exaggerate a little. I am looking forward to Glastonbury AS MUCH as this summer's Supra meets. Just don't show me the door

If I want to see a band I'll go to a concert of theirs. Theres more to Glastonbury than bands! So SO Much more...I think the atmosphere and the people are the best thing, theres threatre tents, street threatre, food from every corner of the Globe, alternative Energy field, Avalon field (where you get 'the real' Festival imo) all night Dance tents. When I first went it was a CND Festival and I helped set up the site communications, it seemed to have more of a purpose in those days, now its a huge HUGE commercial event....so many different Stages, With Music from Jools Holland or Billy Bragg to Kylie (lol) theres something weird and wonderful around every corner...even just walking around the site as RedSZ said is an amazing experience...and the best way to do Glastonbury really is in a tent!
