alaing
Can someone help me? I have had a missfire problem for ages with my car and have replaced all ignition componants with no solve to the problem . Ive just been reading through a few old missfire post and i think i may have my wires into the coilpack connectors round the wrong way as i get a Very weak spark. Can anyone confirm (preferably with a pic) which way round the wires go please? thanks alain:)

edge
Get the car running and take each connector off one at a time, when you remove one and you find it dont make that much difference to how it runs then swap the wires over on that connector. Chris Wilson
Orange (or is it a brown colour) / black striped wires go to the clip side of the coil pack connectors.
alaing
Cheers Chris all sorted now. Also found some of my wiring was old and brittle to the clips so replaced some of that, something to watch out for perhaps on other peoples cars?
