T-I-G-G-E-R
I drive an n\a 1996 jspec and this has been my latest mod for it and it has been a real headache for many month's the air induction system, loads of people have said hks are rubbish k and n don't even make a sports filter for the supra and some say don't even change the stadard air box. But afer researching on the Supra forum's I have made a custom ram air induction system which still utiliser's mr Toyota's mass of plumbing and electronic's for the Ecu side of thing's Can't wait to hear the induction roar on this bad boy;) This is the base filter I started with Apexi dual cone power intake I'm Very happy with the end result look's a very proffessional bit of kit What do you Guy's think will be fitting 2morrow:) do you think I will be needing a heat sheild? Homer
Good stuff, I'm not sure the stock wire will reach that far. Not a big deal though if you to extend it. Edit - you'll need to extend it, the stock wiring won't allow it to go that far.

Kearney
I was trying to think up a nice custom intake system for my own car, I've the HKS filter but IMO my main problem is that it just soaks too much heat from the engine or the fan and it looses power. If I dont find a decent aftermarket panel filter for a stock airbox im gonna try custom make something like you did
Al Massey
I have a very similar intake setup in mine. Apexi filter with a chrome hardpipe, Then plumbing up to the intake throttle plenum. All fits perfectly Will take a pic later

wantasupra
do you only use your car in the dry weather. i guessing if it was wet it would be a bad idea and suck up water and damage engine? even a big puddle would be risking it.
