Gaz6002
I need to get a car (RX7) from Basingstoke to Brighton. Can I legally tow the car using a rope on the motorway? It's my friend's car and he doesn't really want to pay hundreds of pounds for a flatbed or trailor if he can just tow the thing.
Andy-No-Knee
I dont think so. I think you can use the arm tow thingy though.
Mike
If your mate has RAC/AA cover they will usually move it for you?
Gaz6002
If your mate has RAC/AA cover they will usually move it for you? Here's the thing. He crashed his car. It's currently in a bodyshop in Basingstoke where it's been repaired, but he needs an RX7 specialist to look at the car's electrics because he's having some serious problems. I'm fairly sure his RAC policy won't cover that, but I'll get him to call them and confirm.

They'll do whatever you want... we had no amount of chew with Charlotte's old Clio when that died, and they must have picked it up from garage x to garage y three times Give them a bell
