hadyn
Is it possible to fit and run an ECU for a automatic Aristo running the 2JZ-GTE into a j-spec TT auto Supra? Do both cars basically have the same engine and ECU?
Lee P
Yes, should be the same
hadyn
So in effect, I could remove the ECU from my auto TT and replace it with an ECU for a TT auto Aristo and there would be no issues?
garethr
There are some issues. An Aristo will run on a Supra TT ECU, but the aircon doesn't work, for example (IIRC one's a switched live and the other's a switched earth). Have a look on Club Aristo. There should be some information on the US forums as well, since they seem to import quite a few Aristo front cuts.
PJ
http://clubaristo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=12430 That's a link to Supra ECU in an Aristo, so should provide info.

PJ
is that the same serial number as a blitz supra. ecu ? Yeah, however there are car specific codes on the bottom of the ECU I believe. Email Blitz with the details and they will get back to you within a week or so with details of what set up your ECU is. They were very helpful when I wanted details from them where all mk 1 tt aristos autos? Yup, there are no factory manual Aristo's.

PJ
Not sure to be honest as I don't have the email anymore, I think it was something like [email protected] There are differences between the two boxes, the spline is different.
