TrevS
Hi guys Right I have been to look at a 1997 supra sz today. It looks mint in terms of exterior panels etc and ran fine with no rattles or suspious noises. Engine was clean all fluids etc were fine and its just been serviced and mot'd about two weeks ago. The only thing i did notice was that when I got the guy to blip the throttle a couple of times there seemed to be quite a bit of water come out of the exhaust and white smoke (not blue). Could anyone tell me is this a bad sign. After about 4-5 minutes of the car idleing there was nothing even when revving it hard. Any help on this would be great as I don't want to but a car thats got something wrong with it.

Steve W2
Its fine as along as its condensation type smoke. If it's thick bellowing smoke, white or blue, that isn't a good sign. Sounds very much like it's okay though.
carl0s
mine kind of bellows since I removed both cats. Only when it's cold though really, and it stops once the engine has warmed up or adjusted it's idle point. should I be concerned? i reitterate it's just since the CATs were removed.
