blitzer
Hi, searched around but didn't find a clear answer. I'm going single on my Euro Spec Supra (TT,Aero, 6speed) and looking to remove the active spoiler to make space for an Ets intercooler kit (30x12x4"). I think the front undertray that come away with the active spoiler is quite usefull for the aerodynamics and cooling effect on the rad! There's a way to retain this undertray while fitting a large fmic? Thanks in advance and sorry for my schoolish english Cheers Adriano
tomgeer
I think you can keep the active spolier with a fmic but it has to be left in the down position permanently, so I would presume you could leave the undertray on but that is just a guess. When I fitted my intercooler I removed the spoiler completely,
Homer
You will need to move the active spoiler mechanics and the motor, the lower spoiler itself will need some fabrication work to mount it in the permanent down position (plus a simple re-wire of the AS to stop any error lights) It's a good thing to do as the front lift at high speeds is quite shocking without it! The supra *really* needs the active spoiler down above 120mph, the diffrence in front end downforce between with/without is substantial. blitzer
Thanks for the input I'm not looking to retain the active spoiler, just the front undertray because it "seal" the front of the car very well! Will see what can be done

Will see what can be done If you decide to flog the active spoiler kit then put a post on supraforums.com. The yanks seems quite keen to get them.Might fetch some decent money too. The issue will be clearance at the bottom of the Intercooler, i suspect it will be too tight, maybe you could space out the mounts with some washers. im afraid your going to have to experiment.
