Guest DaphneHoneybutt
Hi Everyone I've been having major problems with my dashboard. When I bought the supra the guy before me had already sprayed it silver and it was ok for a few months but then it started to bubble and flake off. I had it re-done a couple of months ago by a pro body shop and they had a nightmare with it. Again, it was fine as first but have now started to see some bubbling. Really want a new dashboard to put in her - any ideas? Want either an original black dash or maybe a carbon dash - just want her to look mint and no bubbling. Just to confirm she is a 1995 Supra NA, J-spec Auto. Cheers Sam
gjp
Ask Nic (import pimp) not really that hard to spray the dash though, as long as you take the rubber coating off first
Homer
If the current one is properly stripped back there's no reason it can't be brought back to a nice finish (after prep and paint). If the last job still bubbled they didn't prep it properly. Both Jezz and Keron are likely to have 2nd hand sets available, or as mentioned you can buy new from Nic. Buying new isn't cheap though (£280 or so)
