_Shane_ Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Got 3 defi gauges and a carbon dash pod to replace the passenger side airbag, how do i go about removing this ? Seen a few members on here with the gauge display mounted in the passenger air bag section but cant remember who exactly. Jezz Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Easy. Unscrew the lower glove box and poke your head up, you'll see where the airbag unit is mounted to the crash bar. 4 bolts. Then gently push it up and you'll see the yellow connector block, it has a white clip you have to flip up, then you just pull the plug out. WOW! I put one in a microwave once. In fact, I think Robsheffield was visiting at the time, and stood 50 odd metres away looking quite perplexed!
