Alex
That's the 2nd Super Puma in a couple of months. I expect they will ground them. I have to take one of those chopper rides soon :gulp:
Mcgoo
I'm on a rig at the moment and came out on one of the exact same choppers, if not that actual on friday. We use the Pumas from Bond helecopters for all our crew changes on this rig. The two that have gone down recently are of a different type and the grapevine tells us that the one 6 weeks ago was pilot error. It seems today's one has probably led to the death of all on board. Thoughts are with families and friends. This is not good. I must admit I don't think I will be quite so relaxed as I normally am on my trip home in a couple of weeks.
