lexsum
RBS will probably make some money off the insurance and lay off some staff while it gets refitted - so well done there at missing the point.

I don't think the point of all this is to make the banks lose money. I think they've done a good job of that all on their own. It's bigger than any one bank. supra_aero
It's very suspcious that the film "The obama deception" is not on imdb. Which we all know is owned by Amazon There may be a lot of truth to your thoughts Gaz.

Which we all know is owned by Amazon There may be a lot of truth to your thoughts Gaz. The FBI have been trying to ban that film for weeks now. They can't, because it's a fair, accurate and contemporaneous representation of what's going on in the world. www.infowars.com has the Obama Deception in HD. Change doesn't happen overnight. If everone knew the truth, then it would be much harder to decieve. People need to stop believing all the tv says, and start thinkin and resarching for themselves. turn the tv off. An awakening is def happening though which is a good sign, compared to 5 yrs ago

Just to add, all the government buyout of lloyds rbs hbos n rock, and b&b, what it basiclally a socialist bank grab undeert he guise of protecting the citizens assets, i mean come on, lloyds is over 80% owned by the gov't if they had tried to buy them out for pennies on the pound a few yrs ago, they would of been told where to go, buy the people, just think most mortgages, are owned by your government now,,, welcome to the ussr
Pete
I don't get it. We sit around and moan that "nothing gets done"...then the moment a few people decide to make their feelings known then it's all "isn't it terrible?". I'm happy to see the chaos, good luck to 'em. This government needs to realise that the public really has had enough of their BS.

Pete
Just watching it on Sky News. I love the way they've picked the most stupid people to show on the tv making them look like a bunch of hippy muppets. I'm sure there's equally as many sensible people with serious complaints in there but the media won't show them.

Truth is most of the trouble makers in the protests are usually found to be police provocatures, alex jones on infowars has extensivly documneted this. And of course the media jumps on it. Quickest way to stop a protest, turn it sour, and let the mob police mop up
Tannhauser
I really am not alone mate, trust me. Films are a good start. Alex Jones is a good journalist who covers a lot of the issues. I'd start with a film called 'the Obama Deception' which should really kick things off for you. Once you've watched that, have a read up on some of the points it raises. While I agree with the general thrust of your comments, I'd be a bit cautious about Alex Jones' stuff. I don't know much about him, but the little I've seen is really ringing alarm bells for me. Mike
Just watching on Sky.. the Police just surged forward and batted a load of people with no provocation. I almost feel like going down there myself. I have zero sympathy for the Police. They bring it all on themselves. They have made a bad situation even worse.

I saw that happen in the local town a couple of months back. If there's one sure fire way to upset a bunch of people is to pen them in and tell 'em they can't go home?! What's the idea behind this tactic?

Kranz
I almost feel like going down there myself. And from my viewpoint so do I, however I wouldn't want to be there confronting you in that kind of situation. I've been listening to this on our radios all day, and TBH hearing my mates getting bricked doesn't sit very comfortably with me. Lets think and post sensibly about this? Would you rather have rampaging hoards throughout the whole of London, or confine the damage to one small area, keep it controlled and allow the 'protesters' to wear themselves out. Nothing about fish in a barrel, more about keeping control of some very dangerous individuals and a crowd of sheep that will join in just for the 'fun'.
