renegade
looking at maybe getting a set of 18" at some point soon ish. i'm thinking 5-8 spoke not to sure what colour of wheel would look best on a white car. so photos and stuff would be nice
supra_aero
Put what your price range is first as that will potentially rule out a ton of wheels.
renegade
say about a grand for wheels thats not including the tyres Edited March 31, 2009 by renegade (see edit history)
supra_aero
That rules out most of the high end branded ones like blitz/gram light/advan etc. Not sure I'd recommend cheap copies of alloys. Although they look good - the difference between weight from a pair of advans and a pair of ebay wheel manias for example is immense. And even on a NA you'll notice the performance difference. Anyway, that said a pair of wheel mania wheels do look good on a white supra ironically . There are some racing hart's knocking about on the for sale section, which are pricey alloys at a bargain price. I'd personally get them and refurb them in a colour of your choice (left silver is fine to be honest) and get the polished lip

renegade
think i will see if i can get Rota /GTR Drift 18" 8.5 and 9.5 not sure of which offset 30,35,
renegade
got reply from email and it says for offset et40 for the front and et30 for the rear? does this sound right
bigbloodyturbo
Yeah they only make the et40 up to an 8.5" rim. I think as close to +50 you can get the better and 40 is better than most rims you see at 30 or 35.
renegade
so +30 on the back ok? or would 35 be better
bigbloodyturbo
so +30 on the back ok? or would 35 be better Everything I've read on the subject always says to try and get wheels as close to the stock offset of 50 as you can, so I would say +35 would be better than +30. renegade
by reading it looks like the 18" x 9.5 only come with a +30 off set and the tyres rears 265,35,18 front? 235 ,40,18 Edited April 21, 2009 by renegade (see edit history)
