wilkorangerover
After cleaning the 02 sensor on my supra with lemon juice, i have experianced some problems on the first start up the car would not rev above 1500 rev s(like a limiter) and now it starts for half a second and then stops once its stopped there is a loud ish noise from the boot
tooquicktostop
sounds like your fuel pump has been wired to run all the time (not good), check the connectors on the O2 sensor
Scott
Have you checked for error codes? I'm guessing the noise from the boot might be the fuel pump trying to prime? Either that or a fooked pump possibly?

wilkorangerover
changed plugs, the others were black car runs over 1300 revs fine but tick over is rubbish (ordered new o2 sensor) its either the o2 or the f-con Edited March 31, 2009 by wilkorangerover (see edit history)
ManwithSupra
Yeah sounds like the O2 sensor is dead.
b_have
Did you use organic lemon juice? I've heard the Aldi brand (with a hint of passion fruit) is not liked by Toyota's sensors.
wilkorangerover
it will run if o2 sensor is unpugged but not very well on tick over if the o2 sensor is plugged in it starts and stops straight away

wilkorangerover
no make just one of ebay
Scott
no make just one of ebay Your very tight for someone with so much money. You really shouldn't buy so many supra's if you don't want to spend money on decent parts. Everytime i see you after something you want it as cheap as possible and seem to bother less and less with regards to quality. Your plugs are black because of the fuelling issues with your car. It is probably severely overfuelling. Buy a decent o2 sensor and all should be well.
