awww classic days of commadore 64. I had the Amstrad 464. I'd love to play them again just I don't know how patient I'd be waiting 20 mins for games to load - haha.

Great nostalgic console though, I wish you luck selling it - personally if I were you I'd keep it - its one of those things you'll regret once you sell it. I wish I could have mine to show my children and grand children when I eventually have some.

I dug out my Sega Master System the other day. Plugged it into my 37' TV. Mmmmm colour blur!

Good luck with the sale, I'd keep it myself though, especially if you've got a working tape deck/tapes. Spy Vs Spy was the best game IMHO on C64 :)

Would be interested if you've got a Spectrum +2 somewhere though. Tape deck's knackered on mine :(

i had the spectrum 48k. took at least 20 mins to load a game and thats a lifetime when you are a kid and only to find out after that lifetime that it didnt load properly anyway...happy days! i always loved treasure island dizzy (egg with boxing gloves)

maybe you should ebay it to see what happens there.

I feel bad hi-jacking his thread so I updated an old one here

Am tempted to get this just to play these old games.

You can easily find an emulator the mentioned games online. If you search a bit, it should be available for free too.

But it won't be 100% the same as sitting with the old box itself though :)

dont worry about the hijack, to be honest i was thinking of keeping them but with the 3 consols, plus a spare atari, and the controllers, and a very large bookshelf filled with games for all three i just want the room back and some money on the side, starting to feel the crunch. your probably looking at at least 30 games if not more for the C64, at least another 20 for the mega drive, and i think i may have a second mega drive aswell, and then about 15 atari games. i would list but would take to long and i cant remember them all. available to any sensible offers. discount if you take the lot (including mega drive and atari's)

what was the name of that car game again that was popular with that system

StuntCarRacer?

There was a couple, one was almost birds eye view of monster trunks, you also had one called Sprint I think, long long time ago now.
