themodifiedkid
I don't know if this is normal but i noticed on the outside of the door windows the strip that runs along the bottom of the window doesn't sit flush/ snug against the window. Is there supposed to be a small gap there? Its just otherwise there is nothing to stop the water running straight down the window and inside the door itself. Apologies if this is a silly question as Ive only really just noticed this in the last couple of days. Cheers people
AlanM
nope, there should not be a gap at all
themodifiedkid
oh thought as much. Does any body know where I can get replacements from in a hurry and what sort of money they cost? Or is it something that i could just simply adjust? nope, there should not be a gap at all

Jason
I had the same trouble on mine after it came back from paint. There is a pop rivet each end of the seal. All I had to do was put new rivets in as the old ones had been drilled out from a previous paint job. The seal now sits vert tight to the window. bodilx6
I just got quoted just about £100 per rubber strip from toyota. I'll guess about 20% could be taken off that with a discount. Two for each side. For the hardtop Edited April 1, 2009 by bodilx6 (see edit history)
