JamieP
Fitted my quick release steering adapter today, Moves the steering wheel 60mm closer the driver and combined with the bucket seat gives a great driving position, (added security is a nice touch aswell) its just the indicator stalk is a little far away now to comfortably reach. What have you done to overcome this? Bend it or adapt it in some way? Cheers Jamie:)

CarlT67
I am sure I read somewhere someone bent them forward a bit for easier reach. Might be an idea to get a set of stalks cheap from Keron or Jezz to try first.
jevansio
On a serious note, it's not something I'd considered, I know James was on about slimline bosses that mean even with a quick release the wheel was still the same distance. Other than that I guess it'll have to be a custom setup, maybe get a spare indicator & have it cut & lengthened to the correct position for an OEM feel? JamieP
jamie warm it with a hot air gun before you sart to bend it I thought of that but has it got any wires inside it?
Scott
I thought of that but has it got any wires inside it? No, should just be a metal stalk. Be careful with the heatgun though, lots of plastic round that area lol. Its a good plan to bend it round something, if you start pulling on it it will most likely try to bend in at the hub, you ideally want it bending out just after that area. jevansio
Dan, did you manage to find the make of the thinner adapter? Wez, did you purchase one of the NRG quick release adapters? My car is on the drive and being able to remove the wheel easily is a big plus for me
lockys96
it sounds like you have the same driftworks one as mine, great feeling behind the wheel bringing it closer. lol, i noticed that the indicator/wiper stalks not there, then reaching around also
