Rear End Poll

  1. 1. Rear End Poll

    • Trial Rear finishes the car off nicely
    • Rear Spats are subtle yet aggressive
    • Stock Look without the spats are just what the supra needs.

Just Thinking whether I should do something with the rear look of the car, At the moment it has a stock rear bumper WITHOUT any rear spats (pic attached at the bottom of this post)

1st Option - looking at either a Trial Rear (like the fact that it comes with the spats and diffuser to cover the fuel tank and give the car a clean look) - only not sure whether the rear spats flare out loosing the aggressive stock look of the car.

2nd option - Add rear Spats to the car (Blended in)

3rd Option - Leave as it, no spats.

I would ideally like a Trial rear, as plonking rear spats on, without blending them in doesn't look quite right to me, but it depends how far you're willing to go.

As for them being common, I think it finishes off the rear very nicely, hence why they are so popular. :)

spats and a diffuser or just the diffuser trial rear is so last season:p

Seriously though i love the trial rear had always wanted one, just finding that now every other supra has one which is why it lost its appeal to me

Not bothered what your rear looks like dude, i'd prob only get to see the front in my mirror.:search: LOL

Trial rear imi.

As Wayne says - everyone has one :D, but I'm not so sure. At the risk of repeating myself, when I've been to the Ace cafe meets, and Basingstoke, only a small percentage of cars have these rears. It's a bit of a myth IMHO :)

Don't think that picture of the supra without spats does the car justice , the red supra with the blended rear spats is very nice and grows on me the more i look at it .

I think it all depends on what type of look your going for , Do you want a modded lk or more of a clean crisp unabused look .

If I do go for rear spats - they will be blended as I think they look ridiculous without.

I do like the unabused look. If I do go for the trial, I will get the diffuser bit painted matt black.

Depends if it's a show car or not.

My daily driver isn't going to have anything blended as it'll crack with the slightest knock. I liked the Trial rear style, but fibre glass bumpers will also self destruct on the slightest bump. Stick with normal stick on spats for a daily driver IMHO.

Doesn't really flare out much, and yours will be black so it wont show much at all. I would go for the top secret carbon diffuser if I was to do it again, looks amazing...
