Guigsy
Finding it hard to believe nobody has mentioned we lost a member of the club the other week due to a bike accident. One of my mums close friends lost a leg at 18. Ive never seen anything good come out of anyone riding a bike. Ill never ride one, never have. I'm sure that everybody on here that rides a bike, is about to, or has done, doesn't need reminding that we lost a member recently. We have also had more than one member killed in Supra's, but I don't think we ought to all sell up and buy Smart cars ! It's a personal choice, but thousands of people get a huge pleasure from bikes - Google Ace Cafe Brighton Burn Up and look at the thousands of faces there. DODGYDODDS
I've had bikes since i was 16 aprillia rs 50 then 125, gsxr 400, the ninja 600 @19, and @ 20 got an srad 750 the bike i still have now tuned and customised, tbh They are very dangerous and imo, it's geting worse on the road, i ride everywhere with my lights on, and still have idiots pull out oblivious, i swear some people get their licenses outta corn flakes packets. any way rant over. For your budget i would by either buy a cbr 600f more of a comfortable inbetweener, or my choice would be a ninja g1, 118bhp best bike of it's time of release compared with srads blades ect. Yes, I didn't think that through really, looking at the great age of (most) Smart Car drivers there must be a fair few heart attacks going on there Selling ours to by a bike
Guigsy
Yes, I didn't think that through really, looking at the great age of (most) Smart Car drivers there must be a fair few heart attacks going on there Selling ours to by a bike lol Well as long as you drive it sensibly i dont have a problem. But ive seen quite a few near misses where the bikers didnt even realise. Im sure its just a bad bike rider but i was in rolling traffic at about 20 mph once on the m1 a biker came down the rows of traffic (which i personly dont have a problem with, hell i would do it if i could) but he moved and joined into the traffic que without signaling or anything. The guy in the car infront whacked on his brakes and had to take avoiding action into the central reservation not to hit him (it was wet at the time) i sware if i hadnt have spotted it happening id have been right up his arse. The traffic moved off and the biker never realised. The guy infront was so pissed off let me tell you lol.
