steve spedd
so im guessing your running what 0.6 bar ish? to lower the compression you can fit the TT head gasket with the ARP head bolts like Rob said. What ecu/piggy back are you running? i would suggest an electronic boost controller rather then fitting a different wastgate spring. Gives you much more flexibility. Gearbox, how about the Mkiii R154, 5speed and very strong. can be bought for 350 ish, you will need a few other bits but much cheaper then the v160. what kind of oil temps you getting? i would suggest a small oil cooler too.... dr_jekyll
yes running 7 psi at ther moment , didt want to lower the comp so the throttle stays sharp. At the moment i have an emanage but i want a fully mapable standalone, i have a 12psi spring ready to go in and i was thinking of the apexi digital boost controller also the oil cooler is a good sugestion thanks . my tax is up at the end of next month so i think im going to get stuck in to it , ill drop you a pm if hit any walls
steve spedd
no probs mate. i know of a decent cheap boost controller too... what wastegate you got? you can also stick the 440cc injectors outta the Mkiii but you have to fit a resistor pack, available from clubNA-t. most common set is the ones from the 2nd generation rx-7 turbo. They drop straight in, no resistor required... emanage blue or ultimate?
RobSheffield
What was the reason for not selling and buying a TT again?
Scooter
What was the reason for not selling and buying a TT again? ......some people like having their car off the road for months on end tinkering away converting it to something special/unique/'their own' that they can then look back and say I did/made/modded that..........it makes them happy (or it should do!) Supradaz
Well said Scooter, With the amount I've spent on my NA-T I could have easily bought a good modified TT Supra but I like to put the car off the road over winter and get my hands dirty. There is loads of headaches as usual with car tuning but there is something to be said for doing something a little bit different and going against the grain. Check this out for a USA NA-T power reading.... 728BHP http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=505654 ..not bad for a car that's not even a 'real Supra' aka TT Apparently running a stock 2jzge, stock head, stock intake manifold, stock distributer with a dli, a bolt on boost logic na-t kit with a DBB 71, aem and fuel, and a boost logic r154 conversion kit. Anyway just my thoughts as I love all Supra's and 2JZ's
