caseys Posted March 27, 2009 Share Posted March 27, 2009 Hi everyone, My hosing to my fuel rail looks like it's perishing. Can anyone tell me what type of hosing I should replace it with? caseys Posted March 27, 2009 Author Share Posted March 27, 2009 One moment caller.. I apologise, I'm still learning. Maybe I just meant fuel pressure gauge! This line runs down into the fuel rail, the black one there with the cable tie around it, other end has a fuel pressure gauge on it as seen with the white gauge on the right hand side near the end on the 2nd pic. The guage appears to be on an FPR> Any idea of the FPR make? Any names on the block? Yes it's the black hose. Ignore the cable ties. It goes into a SARD regulator. No name/brand on the dial. I've got no smell of fuel, fuel pressure's fine and AFR is showing fine too. I don't think I've got a problem yet but I think I need to replace this hose ASAP? I may be resorting to go to a shop tonight and buy some generic hosing as a temporary measure until I get a proper one sorted. Can anyone tell me the correct internal diameter? brianwe Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Just done the same thing myself, but added a generic fpr it really has smoothed out the trottle to the car, made it a tad quicker on the uptake too! Nice! But the stuff I bought was 1 metre of double braided and stainless outer braid fuel line with a 8mm internal diameter, you should find that works fine, wont wear or rot and easy enough to run round the back end of your inlet manifold, or over by your baulkhead.
