Couldn't test in 09 car. Felt he might get a poor result because of it. Didn't fancy spoiling his reputation. Had neck problem.

Agree?

No not at all, had a bike crash in ferbruary and has been giving his neck grief ever since.

These car's are subject to a serious amount of G's which would be putting extreme pressure on his neck.

So he didnt crash a superbike in Spain and injure his neck along with broken ribs ?

SEVEN-TIME Formula One champion Michael Schumacher was admitted to hospital after crashing at 230kmh in superbike testing in Spain.

The online edition of the Spanish sports daily, Marca, citing sources at the circuit, said the 40-year-old had broken two ribs, complained of pains in his neck and wrist and was unconscious for several minutes after the accident in Cartagena..

The newspaper said Schumacher underwent a brain scan, which ruled out serious injuries despite the strong impact of his head against the ground.

Don't be silly, they pre-empted Massa's crash and put that in the paper as a good cover for him pulling out now....

Has no-one thought about the correlation between JamieP doing a 10 and Schumey stepping down?

No can't say I have, besides if it was Schumi in Jamie's car it would have been a 9 second car. :p

I say they should recruit Mr Blobby to drive it , but I do not think pink and yellow would go with red. :(

Renault have been cleared to race after having their penalty changed to a £30k fine. Seems they used Vettel's 3-wheel special race as an example of another car driving unsafely but didn't get a ban.

Also Romain Grosjean has been confirmed as Renault's 2nd driver.

Looking forward to 1st/2nd Practice tomorrow :)
