erol_h Posted March 26, 2009 Share Posted March 26, 2009 I currently have a 18month contract with 3mobile ive had the phone for about 6months and all of a sudden it woun't read my sim card. Long story short the phone is damaged suppously a piece is missing making it void and they are trying to charge me for a new fone. I have never touched my fone i wouldnt know how to take the phone apart i argued over the phone till i got frustrated and told them to f*ck off. Has any one else had problems with these lot. liam1 Posted March 26, 2009 Share Posted March 26, 2009 i have had some REALLY bad service from them i had the misfrtune of getting two phones from them for me and my wife a while ago, customer service was a joke phones were rubbish would never work you could never get a signal would never use them again im sure there is a thread on here posted a while ago about how bad they are. Once my contract is over i'm switching to someone else (more than likely 02) and never going back to 3 again. I wish i'd never changed in the first place. I would have thought so for defects. it does but they are getting out of it by saying its been tampered with which is absolute bull. They also said they had two independant people view the phone and they both say they the same crap which is rubbish as i know i havn't touched it. I would call their bluff, and tell them you are unhappy with the fact that you have obviously been sold a defective item, as it has been tampered with (as they suggest) and that you will be seeking legal advice should they not honour their contract of a replacement etc etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had the same sort of problem with my phone, tried to get a replacement and they told me I had a refurbished phone, which they never told me when I bought it! Needed it desperatly so ended up paying £20 for a new one, then going to my local store to complain. They said they couldn't help but let me call their customer services from a phone in-store. 2 hours of ranting later (and pointing out that potential customers could hear me) they refunded my £20 and paid my bill for 3 months!
