Ricky dont know if will help, but in the LM programmer make sure the output2 Voltage/afr range matches that of the Ultimates standard Innovate settings, also, under advanced setting in the LM porogrammer you can select a slower responce speed so that a bit of averaging takes place. IIRC there are 3 different speeds of responce you can set.

Thanks but i have given that a try, and it seems to be way out:blink: the closest i can get it is using the EMU Innovate defaults, but with the LM set to 0.095V = 7.35 AFR and 5.00V = 22.39AFR

The LM default is 1.00V=10.0AFR and 2.00=19.99AFR which is nowhere near, and doesn't seem to make sense for a 0- 5V wideband?

 

After having another check on the settings i have noticed that the pop is back a bit more:blink so i have upped the fuel pressure slightly which helps, + or - fuel fro either the airflow map or the injector map just seems to aggravate the problem.

This is really starting to wind me up.

Ricky are you LM1 or LC1?? just remembered that the gounding can skew readings..

 

7.8 Analog Output tricks/hints

Sometimes there is a ground offset between the device that receives the analog output voltage and the LC-1. This can be especially true if the System ground is not connected to the same

ground as the measurement device using the analog out. Both devices reference different grounds and therefore see different voltages. So to compensate for the ground offsets the analog

output voltage points have to be shifted by the ground offsets. To measure what the real ground offset is, you can program the analog outputs temporarily to output a flat line voltage by entering the same voltage in both fields for the two analog out programming points. This way the analog output voltage will be fixed, independent of current AFR and can therefore be measured and compensated for easily. To log analog outputs from the LC-1 into an LM-1, simply connect analog output #2 (brown wire)

to an available input on the LMA-2 (RPM converter Aux. In Cable) or LMA-3 (5-sensor “AuxBox”). Set LogWorks inputs match the LC-1 outputs. As discussed in section 7.6 above, factory settings

for the second output is programmed where 0V=.5λ (AFR of 7.35 for gasoline) and 5.0V=1.523λ (AFR of 22.39 for gasoline).

Thanks again for the info, but i have had the LM-1, LMA-3 and the EMU all fed and grounded to the std ECU, which is why i can't see why there should be any discrepancy in the readings if the are all set to the same parameters, now you can see why its so frustrating, and why i have just been using the LM-1 for any data logging.

Thanks Marty, i believe that how i had it configured to start with, but its always worth another go:)

 

Yes i agree it would be good to have an EMU/Blue section to discuss setup, function and problems, now there is no real support or user groups going, despite my current problems, i find it a very capable unit with hidden talents.
