Kev.O
Looking god. Does the top of the FPR touch the underside of the bonnet material?

Homer
Good stuff Jamie, looking good for SRR Looking god. Does the top of the FPR touch the underside of the bonnet material? In that position it'll be fine, it's got an least an inch clearance from the fire blanket. It's a nice and tidy place to fit it, at least it was when mine was there! Modified the stock bracket to mount it.

I started a post when I first fitted mine, and it's now starting to make a slight mark/hole in the fire blanket Edit: Old Thread Edited April 28, 2009 by Kev.O (see edit history)
Homer
Not on my car it doesn't Homer. I started a post when I first fitted mine, and it's now starting to make a slight mark/hole in the fire blanket. As mentioned it was fine on mine, but it might have been mounted slightly lower. I also added a plastic cap to the bolt on the top of thread which might have helped (although it was only added to stop crud getting in the allen key socket) Edit - just seen the thread (thats an old one and recall it now!), it was mounted completely different to Jamie's one
