small problems n/a

Hi,

 

Since a week i am driving the supra mkiv N/A.

imported is from the uk.

 

Now i've got a few small problems with it.

 

Maybe you guys can help me.

 

My controllights don't work from the oil pressure.

 

When i rev the engine there comes an bonking noise out

of the engine, or around the engine. crankshaftpulley?

 

when the engine is runnig in neutral there also comes a noise out

of the tranny when i push the clutch pedal the noise slowly dies.

Thurst bearings? Thing I have a similar thing... to do with the bearings and the clutch.... (or so my father tells me)

The lights for the oil pressure, engine check etc is a common fault, search for dry solder joints here and you'll fine details how to fix that (it's easy)

 

The 'bonk' noise could be the crank pulley, do a search for tippex (seriously ) and there is a nice trick to check for a faulty unit.

Hey guys thanks for the help.

 

checked the solderpoints and those were lose.

So my controllights are working again.

 

Just hope to see whats wrong with the vibration.

 

did the tippex thing and drove going to check it tomorrow.

Checked the tippex thing but untill now It didn't do the same

as the tippex thread.

 

What kind of oil is regular use in the n/a Engine?
