Dangerous drivers in Estates and SUV's

And they say sports car drivers are dangerous!! Having spent a large part of the last week on the road (2 8+ hour drives) I seemed to notice that when I am being passed. It is always by some knob jockey in an Audi Estate or SUV. If not an audi then some other sort of estate/SUV. Not only do they fly by you doing 95+ but they also like to ride right up on your rear before they pass you nearly blowing you off the road! I counted at least 15+ times on my 4 hour drive home last night that I was either being tailgated or getting passed at likely 100 by one of these arseholes, and I am nearly always in the middle lane doing about 70. I know I usually speed everywhere between 5-10 over but for christs sake I don't try and blow people off the road!

a supra in the slow lane forget it ;)

The good thing about the slow lane is that you quickly get caught up and overtaken by the faster cars. Then you can pick and choose which ones you want to catch up with for a bit of fun. :)

Better than dying of boredom in the middle lane at 70?

Perhaps they were venting their spleen at a middle lane driver? ;)

More than likely!

it's not the slow lane, it's the driving lane, the other two are for overtaking. If most people on the road would remember this we'd have far better traffic flow on our motorways.

Exactly, i think we should start a movement. My wife is a middle lane hogger. Doesn't matter how much i tell her so we can start with her.

know what you mean mate just came back from santa pod, had loads of cars trying to have ago, driving up my arse all the stuff you said, but i always get them back when i put my foot down and completely fly past so easily while smiling and waving at them which pisses them of when they got there foot to the floor reving there car hard to even try to keep up, i slow down miles away and wait in the left lane and just let them pass, this way they know that i could beat there ass if i wanted to without even thinking.

I agree, move to the left if you can, move out if you need to overtake.

I also think that it should be illegal to pull out into the path of another car if you make them slow down (no matter how fast they are going !!).

Im fed up of idiots pulling out into the fast lane at 60mph!!!. Floor it and speed up, or stay left, simple as that. If you have a slow car then you cant overtake tuff luck.

Dont get me started with lorries overtaking lorries on duel carraigeways like the A34:d
