imi
I have several archived PST files of 2 - 2.5GB in size and would like to merge them into one big PST file (Easy access, searching, etc). Limit for the PST in Outlook 2007 is 20GB, however when I create a new PST file, it maxes out at 3GB...... What am I doing wrong?
edd_t
few things come to mind. you hard disk is NTFS and not Fat32? Also, do you have your old .pst files connected to outlook whilst creating the new one? old 2003 pst folders generally use ANSI coding which has its max size of 2gb. Outlook 2007 pst files now use unicode which actually means you should be able to have a limitless size (although Microsoft recommend the 20gb limit. In some case when you have your 2003 pst connected, Outlook will automaticly create any new PST files in the old format. check this KB article out, you may now need to reset some settings in your registry: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832925/
