tooquicktostop
Battery relocation frees up a lot of space and makes the engine bay look tidy, you can remove the charcoal canister as you said, e.g with the battery out

tooquicktostop
thanks dean. How easy/difficult is it in swapping over the intake manifold do you know ?? Taking one off and replacing with a new one should not be too difficult, I have just started doing simple jobs myself after years of paying for others to do it, not sure I would take on a manifold just yet myself as it has such an importance in the running of the car
