SteveR
Mine didn't. Barney - didn't I sell my old Celica to you? How's progress/tricks?!
Barney
Thanks John, Steve. Conflicting opinions though, so still a bit confused: Steve: I did have a Silver Gen 4 Celica but bought it from someone, who's name escapes me, in Cambridgeshire, is this the car? Branners
The SBCID will not lose its settings even after a car has been without power for a month or more. I know, I tried it.

I sold a black Gen4 to someone who was restoring another one. Was that you? Loved my old Celica, it was class

Loved my old Celica, it was class Ahhh, yes I'm with you now Steve, it wasn't until you mentioned restoring another one that penny dropped. .......old age you know! Yes, finished restoring my Celica (as you can see from pic) but I sold it a few years back, yours was stripped of all the useful parts then what was left went to the scap yard. Great cars for sure. Not bad here thanks, yourself?
Branners
Thanks John, that's what I wanted to know, sorry got my wires slightly crossed in my previous reply. No problem, I rushed the first reply so should have been clearer. I still love teh SBCiD, along with the powermeter it is what I will put in my current supra when I have the money. I particularly like the speed related settings so you can get 1.2bar boost at 30mph or at 80mph.
Barney
No problem John, we got there in the end;) TBH I have really only used the boost side of the two, I really should get to grips with the power meter.

I think I posted up some settings in the Blitz SBCID thread somewhere on the site. It can transform the performance if it is set right. Barney
I think I posted up some settings in the Blitz SBCID thread somewhere on the site. It can transform the performance if it is set right. Search button could be my friend. As always with these things you get them fitted, get the basics sorted then with all good intention hope to delve further at later date......trouble is that date just keeps sliping by! Branners
This is the thread, worth reading ALL the way through. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=4547 Do not use j-spec settings on a UK spec, it will boost wildly out of control. Using the speed function you can use the SET function higher for the lower speeds. I tended to keep GAIN at the same setting. But read through that thread and all should be explained.
