I presume you have changed from UK glass headlights to facelift headlights? You will need to fit 9005/HB3 bulbs in the low beam instead, there is a rib on the electrical plug you will need to remove so it will fit.

All described in FAQ sections here

Thanks nic im changing the old original plastic headlights for the facelift, the main beam bulb fits ok but full beam bulb dosnt.do i still do what was in the first link you sent me.

The early model headlights are the same bulb fitment as the facelift headlights, so the bulbs should swap over. What is the problem exactly, the 3 locking tabs not lining up?

The locking tabs line up ok but the tabs are to thick on the full beam bulb so it wont lock round into its correct position.

Ive put some 9005/hb3 bulbs in now and they came with thinner tabs on which fit the facelift headlight, problem is now ive done away with the side light in the headlight im trying to connect the wires to the new side light next to the indicator, and now ive got no front fog/side light or rear lights working keeps blowing the fuse.the link i was sent only shows you fitting facelift indicators to the standard headlight with the side light inside, hasent worked the way im doing it.

can anyone help cheers?

Are you looking for this ?

I bought a new "turn signal harness kit" to the side indicators from MVP for easier installation.

By the way..I have the same problem with my "bulb holder" and that they don't fit correclty in the new headlights. Haven't solved that yet due to still bad weather over here in Sweden

Have the same problem..I've made them to line up by cutting of some material from the tabs but I can't push them "in" enough to be able to twist/lock them in place (..spelling?) from sweden you know ;)

Have you tried removing the small rubber ring that surrounds the bulb? I did and it seemed to slot in nicely- this is in addition to trimming the tabs etc ;)
