All donations greatfully received :D

Beer shall be freely flowing from the boot of my car saturday night. Plenty of drink, last time us irish drank with lads from the UK on modball someone ended up on the roof of mcdonalds. Second time I woke up in my tent, at around 8 in the evening wrecked after been driving all day, in the field next to JTS last year were we camped... only to realise I was been towed by an R32 GTR on the grass(been driven by an irish man of course and yes he was sober) great laugh at my expense...

But lets make this one a sensible weekend, that means no whiskey :sly:

Still thinking about it, never tried to drift before so I was hoping we could take passengers so I could get some on-the-fly tips..

Go man you'll regret it if you go and not do it. I'm sure you could get someone to go out with you if your unsure

Branners has said it's a 'no' to passengers unfortunately, I will go to a DWYB day in the future if I don't do it at Suprapod. :)

Ah yeah, well if you want to book it I could give you a hand and explain a bit if you want. I'd imagine the ques are going to be big for the drag runs so by all means I can spend a bit of time giving you some help before you go out. Can't miss my car its the only irish reg'd car there :)

Bit of a daft question and may have already been answered.... i have a couple of mates who are basically car enthausiasts who want to go to Suprapod as Spectators in a Citroen C4... and want to pay at the gate, is this ok?

Yeah that is fine BUT make sure they are immediately behind you in the queue so you can explain who they are.

Sky Insurance have provided us with insurance cover for a complete rain off, so if nobody gets to run we have a specific amount covered. That means the drag racers get a refund, but as the rest of the event can still go ahead in the rain we wont refund drift or spectator tickets.

We also have the mobile hairdryer on standby to blow dry the track if it gets mildly damp.

How about a simple LEADER BOARD, pinned up near to the place where you get your slips ?

A plastic white board that you write on with a marker pen to record the running best times of the day.

It would need to be split up into some easy sections,

N/A TT Single Other

You would only enter your details if you were faster than the previous person.

It may be a bit busy at first, but as more people run and the times come down most people wouldn't need to fill it out.

Last year I hadn't a clue who was running what times unless I was watching at the time and knew the car.

If you think it's a good idea I'll get the stuff together (board / pen (on chain) :D) that's all we will need.

G

PS If it's already been organised - great :)

PPS Didn't see any response to Pigs Trophy idea ?
