Branners
How much is the outstanding finance on the car? Perhaps somebody would buy the car and pay you what the finance owes? Got to be worth a try. Same for the bike, there are bikers on here who may be interested.
SilverSoop
Shane mate, time to sell the Supra, cut those losses and start again. I know it seems bleak right now, but it will be worth it. The longer you wait, the worse the credit company will get their claws in. You're better off starting fresh with a clean account and saving for another one if that's what you want. Remember, n/as aren't that expensive these days and it's still a Supra! Try not to get all emo about the whole thing... a positive attitude is the most important thing for you right now. Yeah thanks for the advice Gaz, like others have said and I have been thinking to sell the Supe and someone has PM'd me and is already interested... it's just the finance on it though... How much harder and complicated does this make it though and will the finance company agree to it????

Yeah as I say Branners, someone on here is interested in buying what was my Supra and I believe it's somewhere in the region of £8,000 oweing... And as for my bike it's around £2,400 oweing... EDIT: Actually, I think it's alot less oweing on the Supra, somewhere between 5k and 6k... The Supra is worth at least 8k though...

How much harder and complicated does this make it though and will the finance company agree to it???? Firstly you need to find out from them what the resettlement figure they have is. You won't be able to plan anything before you know that. If they give you a resettlement figure then you just need to raise that cash, give it to them, and bob's your mothers brother. No debt. Ok Gaz, I will ring Close Motor Finance tomorrow and see what they say regarding a resettlement figure... But I think the way to go is to sell up if they are happy for me to do that... If they don't give me a resettlement figure though, what are my options from there?
gordy07
So sorry to hear this shane:( If you could sell the supra and the bike you could keep the wolves from the door. I hope you get this sorted bud:) Chin up

I hope you get this sorted bud:) Chin up Thanks Gordy... Well after exploring every other option and to be honest I really don't want them to collect the Supe and go to court becase I will still be paying once she has gone plus I will probably be slapped with a CCJ against my name... So if the finance company agrees to it, I will sell her and give them the cash for it...

Whitesupraboy2
Get a thread up mate and although you dont want to feel like you've been robbed your doing this to pay off debts. So do it for a few hundred more then the debt so least you can have a drink to celebrate the clearing of the debt. Dont get greedy, a nice clean rating is what your after

You can only try. At the end of the day, i presume the finace firm will much prefer you to settle with cash rather than have to sell your possesions to get back their money which they might not achieve. Ball ache for all i'd quess.
