I've got both now. One major difference is that my "TRD" bonnet was a stock J-Spec that had the vents cut out. This means that my vents are similar to the stock TRD bonnet, rather than being unbelievably deep. Painted the colour of the car, including the vents, the TRD would look really nice.

I like both though :)

Could you photoshop my car Jay :innocent: :)

I cant decide on which looks best on yours but think a UK bonnet with the vents if done properly could work.

My concern would be how much rain etc got in the engine bay.

Looks great either way :)

Dunk, send me a couple of shots of your car (the ones in your garage are no good, be good if they are similar angle to mine then it's easier to place the vents), you want the TRD vents alongside the UK scoop, or TRD vents only?

Not got any really close to your pic so not to worry mate

If i did have vents i'd keep the uk scoop

I have the TRD and it came fitted with shields to stop rain pouring in onto everything.

BTW - I like both but I know the TRD lets out A LOT of heat which is great for non stock turbo setups and FMIC's.

Both look good on your car Jay - the TRD seems to look better on dark colours.

On some the TRD looks a little OTT. On some the UK vent looks very dated.

Edit: Just showed the Mrs your pics and she prefers the TRD pic. Her comment on the UK one.... "Eww no, that's what they have on those crappy chavvy cars" :D
