lui
Just wondered is it possible to test your O2 sensor to see if all OK if so how ??? Or is it a thing that just needs to be replaced.
bignum
I think you can put a multimeter across it to measure the resistance, if its open circuit its fubbared, i`m sure ive read what reading you should get on a good sensor but can`t find it. lui
Just found this post is this they way to test them ??? & at £125 for new sensor don't want to splash out if old one is fine This should be in technical section. To test the sensor, start the engine and let it warm up Bridge out terminals TE1 and E1 on the diagnostics port Connect a multimeter (non digital is best) between the VF1 and E1 terminals of the diagnostics port. With the engine held at 2000rpms the Multimeter should fluctuate back and forth more than 8 times in 10 secs Any slower and the sensor needs replaced.
