Animal
I've got the Resident Evil books which aren't too bad tbh. Other than that, I've never noticed zombie specific books.
Gaz6002
I recommend 'Dancing on the edge of time' by Michael Moorcock. It doesn't have zombies, but by the end you'll be thinking some very deep and interesting thoughts. It helped me discover the meaning on life the other night. RedM
I don't want deep. I want post-apocalyptic, hardcore gore and shuffling zombies.
Mike
I don't want deep. I want post-apocalyptic, hardcore gore and shuffling zombies. Me too! and everyone dies at the end...! sounds like a good night in. I went through a stage when I was at Uni where I was working three jobs in my holidays, which caused me to have an odd sleep pattern. I used to get up at 2 in the morning and watch Dawn of the Dead at least once a week... it's like a comfort film for me. I used to alternate it with The Third Man. I know I'm a bit strange. Do you find comfort in the inevitable, shuffling doom that swamps the survivors in zombie films/books? I find that no matter how depressed I am I can take heart that I'm not holed up in a blocks of flats hemmed in by the undead and my only chance of escape being a leap from very top floor. Saying that though, I reckon I'd be pretty hard to kill in a non-urban zombie scenario. Maybe it's because I really do give this stuff some serious thought. Mike
I would go out guns-a-blazing... obviously with the inevitable 'eye gouge' maneuver through in ..and I like my Zombies to 'run', not shuffle.. and test fences systematically for weaknesses. I like it when they get smarter the more dead they are. It makes it more satisfying when they get blown apart I literally can't wait until the earth to spits out the dead

Unless they start stealing our jobs and getting benefits. I can't see that they'll need the NHS though!
