Snooze Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Adam was born during quite a long labour with the cord wrapped round his neck - during pushing, his heart rate was dropping quite low. When he came out, they had to resuscitate him as he went a few seconds without oxygen. He is now 2.5yrs old, happy, energetic and one of the brightest kids in his nursery group. Hope that helps! extendor Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Sounds like yours is early. Babies are a lot more resilient than we assume. We had a niece over the weekend. Her heart stopped during labour, had to be ventused out. Lots of huffing and puffing and pulling and a day in the baby care unit but alright.
