D3xt3r
As my tires aren't legal over here I need new ones before I can register the car. But I dont want to put new tires on these ugly stock 16" rims. So I'm searching for some inexpensive 18" wheels and have discovered these here: http://www.kd-tuning.de/H_o_m_e_/Felgen/ASA/a_AR1.jpg They are aviable in 8x18 and 9x18 both in ET45 with a central hub of 73. Will these fit my standard jspec supra and will they fit if I want to upgrade to uk brakes in the future?

D3xt3r
Do you have some pictures? And what sizes are the ultralites? And the biggest question: do they have some sort or certificate? Because I need to get them through our german TÜV. The wheels with Hankook tires will run me around 800 pounds but this is my dealer buy in price. D3xt3r
Doesnt seem like they have a legit tüv certificate so its a no go for me at the moment. And as I said I get pretty good prices as Im a performance parts dealer But the question still stays will these fit over UK brakes?

Lez
They are aviable in 8x18 and 9x18 both in ET45 with a central hub of 73. Will these fit my standard jspec supra and will they fit if I want to upgrade to uk brakes in the future? You'll need to get an adaptor ring (if that is the right word for them) because the centre bore is to big (better than to small). 60.1mm Also best size tyres for 18s are 235/40/18 and 265/35/
D3xt3r
Im currently looking for some used wheels but if I dont find a nice one I will buy the on listed on the top.
lpher
Another way of getting your hands on some budget 18"s would be to source a used set of 8,5x18"/10x18" TTE/Lexus alloys Heres the TÜV-papers aswell http://www.tte.de/tuning/website/Certificates/wheels/wheels18.pdf Thats what i did

imi
They are aviable in 8x18 and 9x18 both in ET45 with a central hub of 73. Will these fit my standard jspec supra and will they fit if I want to upgrade to uk brakes in the future? Got UK brakes on my J-spec and they fit fine with similar sized wheels dont know what Central hub of 73 means though......
D3xt3r
Central hub = center bore But thats not a problem. I just bought some used wheels because I got a really nice deal on them. Bought these: http://www.schweiger-carparts.de/Barracuda/starform_evo.jpg 8,5x18 ET50 for the front with 235/40 9,5x18 ET55 for the rear with 255/35 Got some salt damage in the winter but I hope I can polish this out. And they will last me through this season.
Lez
Wow ! nice !! but whats the offset of these? they look really deep
tbourner
Big offset as well!!!
D3xt3r
Yes Offset 50 for the front and Offset 55 for the rear. They wont clear UK brakes but its ok for this summer. To clear uk break they would need 30mm spacers on the front and 45mm spacers on the rear.
D3xt3r
Deal fell through :/ So still searching some wheels with tires. Could buy these: http://www.schweiger-carparts.de/Barracuda/indy.jpg 8x18 ET38 for the front 9x18 ET35 for the rear Will clear UK brakes and are pretty nice from the looks. But will run around 1200 pounds with tires.
tbourner
Thought you needed a bigger offset for the rear?
Bobbeh
Go for the Blitz 03 look-a-likes, they look sweet Thought you needed a bigger offset for the rear? Rear is smaller because the caliper isnt as large. afaik
Soonto_HAS_soop
The lexus rims can be had direct from Lexus dealers, or Jake off here. He can get them for just over £1k wihtout any tyres though.
D3xt3r
Yeah but I dont like the look of the lexus wheels Its not either the Barracuda Indys http://www.schweiger-carparts.de/Barracuda/indy.jpg In the sizes above (they fit over uk brakes without spacers its tested) for around 1200pounds including tires. or the Rondell 0027 in 8,5x18 and 10x18 http://www.rondell.de/CMS/uploads/0027_151px.jpg for around 1000pounds including tires. I really want to get some Gram Lights but I need everything till the end of this month to it will have to a budget wheel :/
