SteveR
Come to the suspension geometry tech talk I've organised on 5th April and ask an expert? Look in Midlands events - it's free. To answer one of your questions however, you will ALWAYS want the rear higher than the front. The other way round will introduce lift at speed, which is potentially very dangerous. Scott
Yet strangely its set with the front higher as standard. Always threw me lol.

bignum
They do normally sit front higher for some reason, maybe its all the speakers and crap people insist on putting in the boot.innit:D
SteveR
We can ask Chris at C.G. as he has a big book of OEM suspension settings.
Chris Wilson
The rake of a car isn't judged by the top of the tyre to wheel arch top clearances, front to rear, if that's how people are considering this?
Scott
I don't think it is - are you sure about that? What's your source? Read it on here on a previous suspension thread. I think it was in relation to the wheel arch like chris suggests though.
SteveR
The rake of a car isn't judged by the top of the tyre to wheel arch top clearances, front to rear, if that's how people are considering this? I measure from a flat ground surface to where the lower wishbone connects to the sub frame. Read it on here on a previous suspension thread. I think it was in relation to the wheel arch like chris suggests though. That would explain it - that's not the same thing AIUI.
