Lbm
Have a read through here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=159691&highlight=smoking In a sense, Allen Carr who has sold millions of books on the 'Easyway to stop smoking' touches on conditioning & associations. Btw, I can whole heartedly recommend the car battery thing.
n boost
I haven't stopped myself but have cutdown from say 25 a day to approx 8-10 a day which i feel is better than nothing. Like someone said, you need to be wanting give up and everything will fall in it's place. I myself am not ready to give up but have cut down and tbh is not really that hard once you set your mind on it.
mathew
i went through a phase of smoking while id be on nights out. as i wasnt a regular smoker if gave me a nice buzz from the nicotine. as soon as the smoking ban came in i stopped as it was too much hassle having to leave the premises to have a smoke. during that phase however i never felt the urge of having a cigarette during the day.
