ABS Warning Light & Handbrake light

Recommended Posts

Having a bit of trouble with the ABS light staying on, the hand brake light is also on continuously. I have re-adjusted the height of the car and i have also changed over the cable from the fuse box so i have a feeling something is related here but i am unsure of where to look.

I took the car out for a drive and the brakes were fine etc but the traction control would keep entering snow mode. I had to keep turning it off to get the car to do anything.

I've checked for error codes, the engine management light just flashes continuously so i'm guessing that means no codes stored?

I've checked the fluid level, its also fine.

I've checked the plugs at each wheel. I think they are for the traction control? And they all seem fine.

Are there any continuity checks i should do? Fuse checks etc etc?

Thanks

Quick update...

I found a post from Ian C telling how to check the ABS for fault codes. I reset the memory and then did the test, i got error code 32 which is...

Code 32

Malfunction of left front wheel speed sensor signal.

He then said Check speed sensor, sensor rotor, wiring harness, and connector.

Any ideas on how i should cary out these checks?

Thanks

Edit: Just for clarity, i'm doing these checks on the passenger side... is that right?
