what does a TRILLION dollars look like?

Well that is the US system, whereas ours is slightly more impressive IIRC.

 

1,000,000 = million (6 zeros)

 

1,000,000,000,000 = billion (12 zeros)

 

1,000,000,000,000,000,000 = trillion (18 zeros)

 

Which would mean our piles would be enough to fill a small country, but RedM knows all about that, doesn't he?! ;)

I don't get this?

 

A billion has 9 zero's, its 1000 million. Same with trillion, 12 zero's as its 1000 billion.

 

Or am i missing a joke here?

 

Edit, i thought so. We converted from the long scale in 1974!
