My Na gets around 225-260miles to the tank on Optimax which i think works out to be around 19-20mpg.

merckx
Assuming you've got a J spec - 70l - 15 gallon capacity That equates to 7.3 - 8.7 Mpg. That is low!
Soonto_HAS_soop
You haven't got your turbo timer set to about 60 minutes have you?

Guest Sakura
I will never complain about my 300 miles per tank, or 19.5 MPG again!
dangerous brain
That sounds like its drinking a bit more than it should chap. Theres a thread on here somewhere when someone else had a similar problem. They had a dicky O2 sensor or something like that which was why it was over doing it on the fuel side. Might be worth having a dig around see if you can find that thread.
garetheves
Doing mostly motorway driving, with double decat, induction and full exhaust i get 300 miles to a full tank of Sainsburys super unleaded. Its a TT.
toyotasuprauk
Thats very low I just got 170 miles to £25 on a NA manual. I think you may have a problem, perhaps start with resetting the ECU.
Whitesupraboy2
130 miles to £20 on a NA here. reset the ECU see if that helps. to reset the ECU you have to pull couple fuses. search 'ECU reset' you'll find all you need
Shovels
140 miles for roughly £30. I worked it out to be roughly 15-16MPG Thats driving it hard on a 'few' occasions. More often than the missus would like, but ahhh never mind Considering the car's over 500BHP I don't think that's too bad.
GlennMR2
im getting 20mpg thats all town driving and trafic with a couple of 140mph blasts... i reckon i could easily get 300 miles out of a tank
terawua
whoa thats not good mileage at all..... I get 290ish..... on a TT (when it actually works and I actually get to drive it - frustration building up now I want my parts!)
Clarkey
I've managed to get 23mpg - thereabouts. 360 miles to a tank of optimax. That's driving completely off-boost. 60's & 70's.

dangerous brain
Get it stuck on a computer to see what the sensors are reading first before you go replaceing stuff. Most sensors are easy to replace but being toyaota dont expect em to be free lol.
