Lets take a look at ourselves for a min. Forget the millionaires, if they want to be greedy let them be. We can judge them all we like but where they might be able to give away a million, we may only be able to give away £1. The difference is when you give away that £1. I gave £30 tonight. I know of people on benefits giving a tenner and the likes for this charity, money they can't really afford. I couldn't care less if the fatcats skim off the top, i'll still give on the hope that the £3 out of my £30 that actually goes to charity DOES help. I couldn't care less if the fatcats skim off the top, i'll still give on the hope that the £3 out of my £30 that actually goes to charity DOES help. your right. put it this way the £3 that goes ahead may make the difference between life and death! i be honest folks i went to a few countries in the last few years and the poverty i saw made my cry! i mean you have mothers that are so hungry and thirsty they cant make milk for their young ones, you have fathers that work over 13 hours a day and can only afford to bring home equivalent to a burger. you have children who are so sick that at their age they pray for death because of the un-bearable pain. i thank god for every thing i have and in my faith it is required to give to the poor constantly, not one off's but all year round, help the poor and needy at every moment you can. those trips to those countries made me a better person, small things like making sure i dont take a lot of food and end up wasteing what i dont eat etc. generosity goes a long way.
