Scott
Looking for some info, there are 2 hook type things that go into the bonnet next to the window wipers. What are these for? I had to remove them to fit a damper kit and was just curious of their purpose. Cheers
JustGav
Safety.... They catch the bonnet in the event of a frontal impact

Is that the kit you bought of wilkorangerrover? If so you can fit it without it hitting those brackets and you can leave them intact no cutting necessary. Have them on my car and I fitted them to his.

I'll have a go at it again tomorrow. I was doing it in the dark lol. Strangely i couldn't do it the way described in the instructions (where it wraps around the bracket) i had to have them pointing out. Scott
So R goes on the LHS Yeah, hence the confusion. Its a PITA when instructions refer to the left as the drivers side lol.

JustGav
L and R always confuses the hell out of me, should it be when you are facing the car or your view from the inside.... Mind you I usually get left and right wrong anyway, and prove the rule that two wrongs make it right
Kev.O
From looking at the rear of the car, as if you were sat in the drivers side. NS and OS would be bettter IMO.
