hoff Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 After being told without any notice just over 3 months ago that I was being made redundant, I today have been offered a new possition:) Over the time I was unemployed there were very few opertunities for CAD tecnicians or Architectural technologists so things were looking bleak. Even shop work etc was not being advertised in my area. However I got asked to an interview with a local house builder who do everything in house, including the drawing office. I went along yesterday and just had the call with the good news. I got on very well with the Director and Senior Technician so I expect I will be very happy and comfortable there. I start on Monday for an initial 3 month period which, providing their work load continues to rise as it has been again since the housing market has started to improve a little, will becoe perminant:) I'm over te moon, I can now start thinking of the NA-TT conversion again:eyebrows: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
